About the network

The objective of the network is to increase awareness of results from the survey. It aims at promoting efficiency of labour market and educational policies in the Nordic and Baltic countries by providing analyses based on the PIAAC data. Moreover, the network aims at increasing the use of combined PIAAC and register data and to facilitate access to data for research purposes.

The Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) is a survey measuring skills in literacy, numeracy and problem solving among the adult population. Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Latvia form the Nordic-Baltic PIAAC network....

PIAAC Field Test successfully conducted

PIAAC Field Test successfully conducted

In the spring and autumn of 2021, the Nordic and Baltic countries collected first data and conducted the PIAAC Field Trial. Read more about the Field Trial and find more information about further work with PIAAC here.
